Biography
- Stephanie received her Master of Translational Medicine from the University of California Berkeley and University of California San Francisco in June 2017 and Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a Scientia Scholar interested in exploring how microenvironment cues influence cell behaviour. Her work aims to create a biochemically and mechanically tuneable material to investigate cancer growth and spread. Stephanie is passionate about advancing healthcare technologies to improve patients’ lives. Prior to joining the Kilian lab, she enjoyed wide-ranging experiences including a cloud AI imaging start-up, pharmaceutical R&D, and medical device manufacturer. In her free time, she can be found reading at Coogee beach, practicing yoga, and enjoying a coffee at a local café. Astrological sign: Pisces
