Biography
- Pallavi completed her Bachelor of Technology-Biotechnology degree from Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, India in 2011 majoring in Genetic Engineering. She completed the final year project for this degree at Genome Institute of Singapore. A*STAR, Singapore in 2011. After this, she received a Master of Science degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 2014, majoring in Stem Cell Biology. At present, Pallavi is a PhD student at the Kilian Lab and holds the UIPA scholarship. Her project delves into how biophysical cues and local mechanics influence early cell fate decisions using human iPSCs. She loves road trips, house parties, horror movies, late night walks, cooking and eating, yoga and binging shows on Netflix. Does not believe in Astrology but is a Cancerian.
