Biography
- Kang is a multidisciplinary researcher graduated with a Master of Biomedical Engineering from the University of Sydney in 2016 and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Shanghai Institute of technology in 2013. She is passionate about life science and innovative product design and hopes to use biomedical science to help change the lives of others. Kang has worked in various fields around project management and product development before joining the Kilian lab. She grew up in Loess Plateau, in the north west of China far from forests and oceans, and has since had a yearning for the everchanging turquoise of the sea and myriad greens of nature. Kang is a good listener, who loves cooking, hiking, and travelling, and appreciates art, food as well as a good conversation.
